Media.

Media is, without doubt, the biggest connecting tool in today's world. But is it used to connect the world? I doubt that. And no, I'm not talking about social media.

Hello all, the Earthian here.

I get it, with so many bad things going on in the world like terroism in so many different ways, it is important to spread awareness into the society to make them more equipped with information that will help them be and stay safe in this world.
Maybe it's just me, but I feel like them news and media like to spread fear rather than awareness. It is important to know that fear and awareness are two very different things and that they must be differentiated in order to get a clearer picture. It's really easy to confuse one with the other because they can go together.

The way media portrays the news makes most people against a certain country or a certain religion, which is in no way, correct. This sends a bad message because whatever shown in media always gets deep inside people's minds, and therefore cannot be undone once it's done. We must realise that bad people are like a small portion of a big picture. They are like a stain in a beautiful painting. They are like a decayed branch of a big tree. I hope you get it.

Anyway, the point is, I think it would be much better to not just show, but celebrate all the acts of kindness and love that happens in this world. I wonder why people ignore all the good news, and show intently all the doomed incidents.
To some extent it is important, but it should never be the only thing shown.

Lots of love, peace.
