Am I good enough?

When we are doing favours for someone, we go to large extents to do the perfect job, most of us. We don't want the person who assigned the work to us feel bad about assigning the work to us. Yet, when it comes to things for us, we are more often than not, satisfied with average things.

Hello all, the Earthian here.

Now, don't get me wrong, I am all for modesty. But like I've told before, modesty is often misunderstood. People think they have to think low of themselves in order to be modest. Sometimes so low, that they end up losing their own dignity. There is a fine line between modesty and well, stupidity because that's what you're being, when you let other people decide how worthy you are. Let me make it very clear. You are precious. You are beautiful and amazing and all the good adjectives in the world. You shouldn't be settling for anything less than the best in life. Never let anyone tell you how worthy you are. Never let another person make you feel miserable. Don't go after people, especially people who don't want you and people who have mistreated you time and again, because guess what, you don't need them. Selling ourselves short has become nothing but a habit for people these days. You have the right to have the best in life. It's what you are for. The best and only the best. Yeah, people will make comments about you behind your back, but who cares? Not you, because you know you aren't the bad person they think you are and you don't have to prove anything to anyone.

All I'm trying to say is, there is nothing wrong in wanting to be the best and wanting the best. In fact, it's everything that's right. Never feel guilty about it, because it's not a crime to want the best.
