Sugar-coat.

Today, one of the easiest ways to not only sell your products, but to literally sell anything, and I mean any thing in the world, is by sugar-coating it.

Hello all, I'm the Earthian

The facts are, you have things to sell and people have things to buy. For the right price, anything can be bought and sold. This goes without question. Another fact is that, whatever you're selling, you're not going to be the only one selling it. So, how do you sell it? Well, lying is always an option. But this is an option that comes at a cost. It has consequences, which might or might not be heavy. But there is a secret and a subtle option which is always available. And that's to sugar-coat your product, sugar-coat it in such a way that people literally get lured to what you have to sell, even if they are not sure if they want what you have to sell or not.
It's just a clever way to hide the truth and not lie at the same time. It's like the line between truth and fallacy. It's basically playing safe, to always stay the "good guy". But deep inside, we know who we are. Don't we?

Still not getting my point?
I am talking about friendship. In fact, I'm talking about relationships in general. These are built with virtues like trust, honesty, love, etc. And sugar-coating is something that should never prevail in these. Sure, if you have bad news, you can tell that with politeness and humility, but you can never sugar-coat it, because all it does is make people misunderstand the original message. You see relationships are not just your product. It's a product that took two people to build and if you broke it, the least you can do, is be honest about it. You might think that sugar-coating is just a nice thing to do because it doesn't hurt the other person so much but the truth is you just want to escape without having to face any consequences even in the form of questions.

It's a sad reality that people always prefer the easy thing to do over the right thing to do.

Lots of love, peace.
