Self sympathy.
I've noticed this tendency in humans. I've been noticing it a whole lot in the recent history. I'm going to go ahead and assume I'll be noticing it a whole lot more in the near future.
Hello all, I'm the Earthian.
So, what have I been noticing? Sympathy. More specifically, self-sympathy. The thing with humans is that we prefer to play the victim, in the most general sense. We choose to be the person that gets hurt and we then choose to be the person who looks at his/her own self with pity. It is OUR choice. Like I've said before, we do not own up to our own choices. We are just prevented by an inner virtue, our inner virtue, ego.
And once we realize that we are in a tough spot, because of our choices, we again, choose to look at our selves in the mirror with sympathy. We put up an act like the whole world is against us. We well up our eyes with tears as if we are the sad victims. Keep in mind, that we do this, only because it is easy for us to do it. We have this inner need for consolation. Because there is no one else to do it for us, we decide to do it for our own selves. Problem solved, right?
Wrong.
Wake up from this delusion. Yes, sometimes, most of the times, the world is unfair. But, your tears aren't going to make you better. All you're doing when you look at yourself with pity, is trying to convince yourself that you're a loser. But you and I both know, you aren't one and that's why your tears are not stopping. Because if you are able to convince yourself, there wouldn't be necessities for further tears.
But eventually, when you do it too much too often, you'll extinguish the fire inside you.
Self sympathy is venom. I hope I made sense.
Lots of love, peace.
