Believers.
Believing is so much harder than it has ever been given credit for. Sure, most of us would surely believe everything that has a scientific explanation that backs it up and surely, most of us would believe in things, but what about believing blindly?
Hello there, I am the guy who roams around calling himself the Earthian.
Especially when we live in a period where we get judged left, right and center for every single thing that we do, believing in something without anything significant backing it up is something that not all of us would consider doing. Unless we have a reason to. Even then, we evaluate the reason that is trying to motivate us into believing in something that we want to but have our doubts on. Things have this obligation to satisfy our logical circuits before they are let through. Something about being right drives us. Drives us towards not wanting to be looked at like fools and drives us towards being someone who has his brains. And blindly believing makes us feel like we are in the affirmative side of the former and the negative side of the latter. But there are those of us who still believe in the things we do want to believe in subconsciously, believe in those things that matter to us, those people that matter to us. Those things, people and just about everything else that connect with us for no apparent reason.
When things do matter, to maybe just us, we believe in them and sometimes, no matter how hard science and logic try to win over us, we don't let it. Because we believe. We just believe. Because we are believers.
Love, peace.
