Relativity.

I was throwing thoughts about selfishness today and I've uncovered that we are all selfish. Yes, all of us, in our own ways, are very selfish beings. And that's not entirely a bad thing.

Hello there, I'm the Earthian.

Some of us are selfish in ways that we don't to have our freedom compromised. Some are selfish because our privacy is at stake. Some of us are selfish because we legitimately do not want anyone other than ourselves to succeed and some of us are selfish because we've seen way too many failures trying to be generous. The truth is, even being generous can be termed selfish, anything that you do for your happiness can potentially be termed selfish and that's just the gist of it. You get happy seeing others sad? You're sadistically selfish. You get haply seeing others miserable? You're a step further from being sadist. But what if you get happy seeing others happy? Are you still selfish? Yes. Only now, you're the giving kind of selfish. And this sometimes is termed selfless. So, in essence, is being selfish wrong? Yes and no. Sometimes its something in between too. And sometimes its completely out of it. At the end of the day nobody would actually know because nobody is you. Only you will ever know who you are and what makes you happy. Everyone else can, at the very best, speculate. And there's no need for you to pay attention to them ever. Even self-care can be termed selfish. And that's the kind of world we live, take it however you like. Relativity isn't fictional. Its probably more real than most things.

Love, peace.
