Generation.
Sometimes, I get this really random feeling that I was born in the completely wrong era. Around the seventies or even the eighties could have very well been the perfect time for me. And then I quietly shake that thought off of my head, falling back to reality.
Hello to you, reader. I'm the Earthian.
Maybe it's just me, but, I feel like today's generation is just too tired too often. And I am including myself. I'm not referring to the physical tiredness alone. Cheerfulness, excitement and eagerness are all gone from people of this generation.
It's ironic because people of this generation have a million more reasons to get excited, a million more reasons to look forward to each and every day of their lives, a million more reasons to just love life in general.
My parents tell me stories about how exciting it was for them when television was first introduced to them. They tell me stories about how big of a deal it was for them to actually talk to someone through the phone. They tell me stories about the ancient kitchen-ware their parents used to cook with. They tell me all these stories about the "gadgets" they grew up with and still manage to make them sound more satisfying and enjoyable than what we have today.
Let's face it, technology today is head and shoulders ahead of what it was four years ago, let alone four decades ago.
So, where did we lose it? Lose our cheerfulness and our excitement. Clearly there is something wrong that's going on. Is it the fault of the developers and the scientists? Is it the fault of the technology itself? Or is it our fault?
There is so much more to share on this topic. I will continue with this.
Until then, lots of love, peace.
