Small talk?
I'm awkward. I accept that. But, is small talk the way to get out of my awkwardness? If yes, I'd rather stay awkward the whole of my life.
Hello all, the Earthian here.
So, small talk. Now where do I even begin about this topic. To me, it's like the least productive thing, hands down. Apparently, it also is the best way to procrastinate with interest. It is the way to while away the time in a really casual manner and at the end of the day, not have any regrets about it.
But, the real question is, why are people interested in this? I mean, half of the people in the world that I've met are genuine "small-talkers" if I may put it that way. And half is putting it mildly. I am just trying to be polite.
The worst thing about this is people who can't do small talk are the ones who get judged when it really should be the other way around. I mean, seriously.
I genuinely don't see the point in small talking with people when there is so much that's going in the world, to this world. There is so much people can do, individually and together. I wish people realize that one day. It's sad to see that people actually believe that small talk is a genuine way to connect with people.
Think about it. Peace.
