Rest

I know it would be great to keep doing something. Something that you absolutely love and can't live without doing it. But life doesn't work that way, does it? Some obstacle or the other always comes into our way and tries to screw us up.

Hello all, The Earthian here.

See, sometimes a break is good. We can't always keep running, we need a break to catch our breath. We can't always be writing, we need time to refill the cartridge. (Cliche). We can't always keep winning for we need defeats to make us grow. (BOOM! Another one! :P)
I can keep quoting examples but I think you get the point.

Sometimes it's okay to take some time off, boost up your energy, regain your confidence (had you been feeling dull and monotonic), patch yourself together if you  feel like you have crumbled on your way, and pull yourself up if you feel like if you have fallen down.

But, what I'm trying to say shouldn't be confused with a long term rest. Taking some time off is good. But if you had come to a situation where you need to take some time off from time off, then you're in for some deep trouble.

See, the human brain likes simplicity. It always wants to take the easy road, however bad the results may be. It's you, your conscience that needs to drive it into the correct path. And while driving it, you may come to a situation where you need to take some rest due to long hours of travel. So, it's okay to get into a hotel and take some rest. It's not okay to totally change your route, assuming you'll be able to come back again, easily.
I hope you get my point.

Take it easy. Don't be hard on yourself. Push yourself, but not so hard that your going to not be able to withstand your own push.

Peace, later.
