Help.

I don't understand the concept of helping each other out. Like seriously, what does it mean? Is there a proper definition? Is there a right way to help?

Hello there! The Earthian here.

I don't know what it means, but I'd sure like to share what I think it means.

Help is connecting with people. It's as simple as that, in my mind, of course. It's not being for someone at the right time, it's being with someone all the time, no matter what the situation is, where you are, how you are.
See, these days, all I see is, barter systems. "Hey, I gave you this which really helped you, hence, I need that from you". While people may not actually say that, their actions pretty much say it all.
Basically, help is about being selfless. You don't help someone with something in your mind. You need to do it plainly. Expecting nothing in return.
Do it with a smile. Make them feel at home. You need to know, it takes a hit on someone's pride everytime they ask for help. You can either make them feel worse about themselves or you can provide them some comfort.

When you help someone, expecting something in return, you're actually not helping. You're giving them a loan and you want repayment. Sounds awful, I know.
It has to be said. You might as well not help them if that's the case!
This is another scenario where I think people are huge hypocrites. They always say something, the right things, to get what they need  from you. Or sometimes, take advantage of someone's situation and break them.

I'll talk more soon. Peace.
