Thoughts.

 The internet is a lot of things, kind is not one of them, most often, loving is not one of them, most often. It can very easily be wild, immature and vile and I do not blame the internet one bit. I do blame people though, people who hide behind their keyboards and try to bully people into doing things they otherwise wouldn't even consider doing.

Hello there,  I am 'the Earthian'.

There is a difference between voicing out opinions and targeted harassment. I for one, have witnessed people being punished for voicing out opinions and people being supported for targeted harassment. It is possible only because the internet allows anonymity. Literally anyone from any corner of the world can say whatever they want to people in different corners of the world, and the best/worst thing about it all is that they don't even have to take responsibility for what they said. They can pretend they never did what they did and move on like nothing ever even happened. The internet is a lot of things, and it heavily depends on what we want it to be, but a logical and sensible place where people are cordial, is not one of those things, usually.
