 Nobody ever loses anything by giving. If one feels they're getting poorer because they're donating, if one feels they're losing in life because they're doing good, one needs to reconsider their world views. But make no mistake, you can be nice, kind and humble, but you must also, always, be fearless and tenacious.

Nobody should ever be able to run over you because you're a nice person, because you help people, because you're kind to people. Nobody should ever abuse you, misuse you or otherwise hurt you because you're kind, because you're humble, because you're good-hearted. It is NOT your weakness, it is you biggest strength that you can wish people who don't wish you well, well. Be proud of the person of they person you've grown into, and never let anyone, I mean, anyone, take you for a ride. You deserve honesty, you deserve respect, you deserve kindness, you deserve moral treatment, you deserve fair treatment, you deserve humane treatment. No matter what. Remember that always and be tenacious about it. Let your heart guide you to the light.
