The Idea of having a Dream.
Just like you can't quench your thirst by wanting to drink water, just like you can't satiate your hunger by wanting to eat, you can't get far in life with just wanting to go far, you have to drink water, you have to eat food and you have to work hard, respectively, if you want to accomplish those things.
Hello there, I'm "The Earthian" around here. Just kidding, I'm not the only one, we all are, but that's something I just say here every time I write. Hope you don't mind.
It's not exactly rocket science, what I laid out in my opening lines, it isn't exactly the hardest to digest, and yet those lines ring a bell in my chest every time I read them, out loud or to myself. Maybe it's because we all have that daydreaming aspect in us, that just puts us in a trance once we succumb to it, and it's not very hard for it make us succumb, I mean, most of us succumb voluntarily. And whilst it is common, very common, and nothing to be ashamed of, it exactly is what separates us from our actual dreams. We all love the idea of having a dream and therefore have one (or two), than we do love actually doing something about them. It's almost plainly romantic, to be in love with idea of having dreams and not with the aspect of making it real. A few do love living them, and clearly, they seem to not regret it.
Love, peace.
