'If Only I Had Known This Earlier!'
I think it is fair, very fair, to say that most of us, at some point in our lives, have all said 'If only I had known then what I know today...'. You can end that statement in any way you like and you wouldn't be far from being accurate, accurate to your own story, sure, but accurate nevertheless.
Hello there, I like calling myself "the Earthian" and I share opinions.
'If only I had known how the corporate world works, I'd have done better or taken another career path', 'If only I had known this factor about her/him/them, I'd have never put myself in the predicament of having to be with them for so long', 'If only I had had the knowledge I possess today back in the day, I'd have been a much different person to the person I am today'. These are just some examples where one claims to have become an entirely new personality. I have nothing against anyone who makes these statements and I wish nothing but respect for all and if you really have learned something in your recent present that has altered the course of your life, good for you. I mean seriously, good for you, live your life king size, the way you've always wanted to. However, that's the whole point of life, my friend. 'If only I had known then what I know now', you didn't know it then but you know now and that's what is life. You could never know life for what it has to offer, always only for what it has offered. So, the next time you pretend your circumstances weren't right, your situations and your environment weren't right, remember, that's how it's supposed to be. Nothing will be right, nothing will be laid our for you the way you'd like, but the takeaway is that you know now something you hadn't known back then, you've learned. You've grown. You've evolved. And that's all that matters.
Love, peace.
