Value.
Call me crazy but I think people need an obsession. They need something to keep them engaged, to keep them entangled, to keep them occupied for they are going insane when the thought that not much is happening around them, to them, strikes their minds.
Hello there, I'm 'the Earthian'.
I am by no means stating this is applicable to everybody. It certainly isn't. I think it stems from the thought that they are becoming less valuable as they lose things to do and focus on. I think people need something to hold on for they believe their sense of importance arises from what they do and what they're capable of doing. I think people have this need to keep themselves involved, just so they can feel good about themselves. And none of any of that is wrong, just that, it's a bit silly. Silly how we invest so much of our time trying to find value for ourselves in everything but ourselves. We are innately special, all of us, just the way we are. Nothing makes us less valuable, except for maybe us trying to find value in ourselves for that is selling ourselves short.
Love, peace.
