You know what's really silly to do? Trying to explain to people the concepts of freedom of expression, speech and thought. It's very subtle and very easy to understand but it requires a certain level headed and open minded attitude which many people just do not seem to possess or want to accept.

People's ignorance is the first thing they ignore. And therefore to even try to make them realize to this is going to be a complete waste of time for they would never even realize how ignorant they are. They operate under the assumption of being right, which gives them a skewed view of reality. Their sense of self righteousness wouldn't even be evident to them for they will believe with all their hearts that they are to be supported by everyone because their concepts make sense. It's so wild because they are literally contradicting themselves but just aren't open enough to admit it. That or they're just stubborn. Either way, if you ever come across them, steer clear of arguing with them. Your time is much better spent stargazing.
