Denial.
Hey, how are you? Yes, you. How are you feeling? And before you answer me, I just want to remind you to be completely honest. Honest with yourself, not necessarily with me. Are you doing fine? Or is that what you've been telling yourself?
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
Half the time, we don't know how and what exactly we're feeling. But because we've been accustomed to saying that we're fine, all the time, no matter what, that's exactly what we say all the time too. And then, we go about sad and worried, all the while living in denial.
You see, living in denial is a very dangerous thing because you're not really living, but you're convincing yourself that you are. Anytime people ask you how you're doing, you tell them what they'd like to hear and not what you'd like to actually say. While I do get why you lie to people about how you're feeling, I really don't understand why you're actually lying to yourself.
We've been taught for so long that it's like kind of bad to feel sad, down and disappointed. But it's not. It doesn't have to be. What it is though, is that it's a phase of life that you are rejecting. Don't. Accept it, embrace it and make sure you change it.
Lots of love, peace.
