Information.

We are what we are taught to be. We always, and I mean, always learn. Learn from our parents, teachers, friends and so many other people. We learn from our mistakes (I hope so), our past, our surroundings and our situations. We learn a lot and there is absolutely nobody that can deny that.

But just because we learn, it doesn't mean we learn all that's necessary, though. In fact, most of what we learn are things that aren't even worth learning about. I mean, seriously, who needs information about the private lives of celebrities? Who needs to know when and where the next famous couple are going out? Who needs information about the gossip that a television show brings with itself?
The point is, we learn so much of what's totally pointless that when it actually comes to learning what is actually necessary, we just are too tired to learn it. Besides, it's boring right? To learn about the latest issues that are affecting our home, planet earth? I mean, climate change, deforestation, extreme population, violence against other species and within ourselves are issues that just aren't having the sauce, are they?

It's too sad to see where a generation with so much potential are headed. It is literally painful to see that only a bare minimum number of people actually care. It's even more painful to watch someone demotivate the few who actually care.

But I do have hope though. Besides, it's the only thing I can have...
