What's common?

Whether we like it or not, at the end of the day, we want to be united. United with someone, anyone. Afterall, most people's biggest fear is the fear of ending up alone in this world.

Hello all, I'm the Earthian.

Acknowledging the fact that we like unity, why is it that we always find ways to contain our unity? I mean, why do we keep finding or fighting for ways to limit the unity?

My answer to it is that, our ability to accept new people is very very limited. And the biggest reason for this is our mindset to judge people from the way they look. We keep finding the things that are different in a person. We look at a stranger and think like "Woah! That's a weird hairstyle!" and "Eww! What an ugly shirt! He really has a poor dressing sense!". Why can't we think for one second that they are people and people are all different. It's that difference that makes us who we are! And besides, we never ever get the idea of looking at what's common between us and the person we are looking at. I mean like, do we ever look at them and go like "Hmm, he has a nose, just like I do!". And even if we do look at what's common between us and them, we do it out of jealousy most of the time. Like "Woah, he looks like me, but better!".

The point is simple, we don't want like the idea of unity because of the simple fact that we can't accept. Or to be more apt, we don't want to accept. We want everyone to be the way we want them to be, thereby stripping them off of their birth rights.

Lots of love, peace.
