Losses.

The nature of life as we've defined is that every time someone wins, there is also someone who loses. But it doesn't have to be that way. A loss is only ever a loss when nothing has been learnt from it, when nothing has been improved upon, when nothing has even be considered to work on. It isn't a loss if there are positive takeaways. If you've failed at a test, you at least know where you stand and how hard you need to work to get to where you want to go. If you've lost in a sports contest, you at least know the difference between you and the best, you know what to work on. Sure, none of this is going to make you feel better, but who says life is all only about feeling the good feelings and only victories. You must endure losses and wins alike, you must continue to work irrespective of the outcome. If you stop when you think you've achieved the top, you'll lose subsequently, because what isn't going up is only coming down.

Love, peace.
An Earthian.
