Leaders.

Given an opportunity, I wonder how many would actually take the role of a true leader. I wonder because I find myself surrounded by people who, in some way or the other, believe that one needs to be in a certain position to have any chance of bringing about a change in the world. People look up to politicians, giant companies and their billionaire owners and heavily influential personalities to bring changes to the world. While they are people who can affect global change to a good degree, they are not it. Every single one of us have a part to play in creating the future, a future we all have longed for and continue to long for. We all have sacrifices to make, challenges to face, and pain to endure to get to where we want to go and it is a grind that requires commitment, a lifelong commitment. What we are not prepared to do for ourselves, we cannot expect others to do, even if they want to, they will fail because ultimately, it comes down to you. Ponder.
