Polar Opposites.
They realized their time together is coming to an end, mostly because they started realizing that the physical attraction phase between the two of them was the only actual phase that was enjoyable for them. Soon as it ended, things started to tear apart,as they realized every single one of their opinions were so very different.
He told her, with so many tears in his eyes that some even started trickling down via his cheeks to the tip of his lips, "You and I are different; so different that we almost never coincide on anything or choose any choice that we have to make as a couple, together. We were never meant to be together, and we probably should have realized this a long time ago. We fell for each other because we found each other physically suiting each others' thoughts of attraction. We should have let it slide like many already do, but we didn't and that was our first mistake. The second was being together for as long as we did. I'm actually surprised we lasted this long together. It's like we are polar opposites. Sure, opposites attract each other but that's all they do. But only opposites of different magnets attract each other to the point where they stick with each other. When we are like the opposites of the same magnet, no matter how strong the attraction is between the two of us, we just aren't going to meet each other, ever. The attraction will be there, but never strong enough. As hard as this sounds, you and I will have to find different ways, different paths. Goodbye." .
As he said this, he took off, slowly, without turning back for he knew turning back would make them repeat the cycle they just closed off. He never waited for her to reply. She didn't reply either. She stood there, her eyes equally welled up, her lips were tightly shut and her face wore the saddest frown it could. But it was goodbye.
