Indoctrinated.
We all have things that we believe in just because people who are close to us believe in them. For some it is sports; we watch and support the teams we support, the players we support because the people around us watch and support these teams and players. For some it is politics; we feel strongly about the parties and candidates that are contesting because the people around us feel strongly about the parties and candidates.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
While it is not wrong that we are influenced the way we are influenced by the people who surround us or sometimes even the people we look up to or even sometimes the people we love, there is always a small fault of ours that prevails as there isn't necessarily our thoughts that are put into these believes that are fed to us.
And sometimes, it is these people that we look up to and love that build in us the opinions they believe in. And because they do it often and because us humans have the tendency to believe that our opinions are better and right compared to everyone else, they do it vigorously to make you believe in what actually they believe in. And sometimes, they start doing it at an early age. They start doing it so early that we start believing that their opinions are facts.
If this rings a bell in your mind that maybe you should start thinking on your own to decide what is good for you, I've done something right. Because it really is one thing to believe in what people ask you to believe in when it comes to sports and politics, but it is a whole other ball game if you just ignorantly follow the path you've been asked to follow on bigger issues, like, let me see, life. I hope you'll think about it.
Lot's of love, peace.
