Your Rock.
If you have the habit of beating yourself up too often, like me, well, you might want to read this. Tell me this, how often do you beat yourself up when you do the smallest of mistakes? And how often do you treat yourself well when you achieve something good? As long as there is not an equality between the two, either you'll find yourself to be unacceptable or everyone around you will find you to be unacceptable, not that the latter counts for much.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
When you beat yourself up over little things, you basically strip the trust your mind has on you off of it. You'll find yourself to be a deserving candidate of the beating up process. You will not only embrace the tiniest of setbacks and become negative but will also deem yourself to be an unfit person. Like when you are an addict of smoking, and you decide to quit and you go on a hundred day streak and then you accidentally inhale a puff, you will forget the fact that you were, for over a hundred days, good. All you'll see in yourself is the person who couldn't quit it even after hundred days of a pause. The negative attitude created by this will only lead to more and more and then some more smoking and before you know it, you condemned yourself to a fate that you personally wanted to escape. Little did you know that when beat yourself up, you also beat the little amount of self-confidence and self-esteem that you had gathered over the days.
Do not ever be your own discouragement. There are millions of others for that very same purpose. Be your rock, just for a change.
Lots of love, peace.
