Listen.
Of all the easy things a person can do, the easiest of them all is assuming the moral high ground when someone tells an incident. We easily assume the moral high ground and make comments like everything about us is absolutely one hundred percent righteous.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
I don't know about most, but for me, when I share a part of my life with someone, I usually do not do it with the intention of getting an advice from them. In fact, I don't even do it with the intention of getting their opinions or thoughts. I do it because it feels nice when someone actually listens to what I have to say without having any comments to make about me, without having any judgements to make. It feels nice when someone just listens.
And I really don't understand why people find this hard to understand. And it's only because of this the ones who want to talk to someone shy away from doing so. They walk away because not only do they feel like nobody cares, but also they understand that they are going to be severely judged, which is not in any way what they are looking for from people, especially with the state of mind they are in.
Sometimes, lending your ears to someone can be the greatest gift you can ever give to that someone. It takes little energy from you but a whole lot to the other, emotional energy.
Lots of love, peace.
