Important?
Hey, you! Yes, you. Let me ask you something. How important of a person do you think you are? How important are you to the people around you? How important are you to the place you work for? How important do you think the job you do is? And finally, just how important are you, to yourself, my friend?
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
I see people taking this life of theirs way too seriously. We all think we are important people at our work. We think what we do matters. And I'm sure it does, in the little obvious way. But on the deeper side of it, does it really? Because you could retire today and you will have been replaced the very next day. Because you can forfeit and your position will have been taken over by someone else. Because you could call it a day and someone else will immediately call it their dawn. The sunset for you is the sun rise for someone else, somewhere along the world. And when we do realize this, it's almost always too late to turn around. Because we get older to realize that it's the job we did that mattered more than we could ever matter to the place we worked for.
Not only that, we realize that we have been striving, fighting, pushing and sacrificing for someone and something that doesn't even recognize us. And along the line, we ignore our happiness, our smiles, our joyous moments, our blissful days. It's okay if other people isn't bothered about our happiness. But it's not when we aren't. Because there aren't too many people out there to help you with your tough times while there are millions out there to laugh at you. Make sure you aren't one of them.
Lot's of love, peace.
