Blindsided.
Everybody is so busy trying to make themselves identifiable, trying to make themselves relatable, trying to make themselves someone they actually aren't, desperately. Some part of them always tells them, no matter how well they are, that they aren't just good enough.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
I'd like to ask you one question. Before you do something, anything, before you decide to dedicate a part of your life to something, because that's what you're doing when you put in so much of your time into something, do you ask yourself if it is worth it?
Is it worth it? Getting a makeover of your appearance because people think you're odd to look at? Forcing yourself to dance in public when you clearly aren't any good at it, aren't interested in it? Desperately trying to impress someone who just isn't in the slightest of ideas of even looking into your direction?
We get blindsided by the "promising" results of every cliché act. And even though we know that it probably isn't worth it, we still give these acts numerous goes just to make sure we aren't looked like we are from an unknown universe. It's funny because we seek everything we don't need and avoid the things we truly need. And we keep doing it until someone breaks it up for us. Unfortunately not all of us have that someone in our lives.
Lot's of love, peace.
