How successful are you?
When it comes to anything involving human glory, success or happiness, it always involves some kind of a struggle. I mean, almost every "successful" person's story describes a story of his painful moments that he had to endure in his life.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
Whilst I do not intend to take anything away from whatever hardships a person underwent in order to get where they are, I very politely ask, why do people describe it the way they do?
Do we, at some depth inside of us, feel like flaunting our hardships? Or is it just the simple fact that we like to establish that without pain there isn't any success in the world?
Everything is already a big race to people. People are sure that this world is some sort of a "survival of the fittest" contest and are already trying their very best to outperforms everyone else in everything they try. Not that I don't appreciate competition, which I do, but is it truly necessary when it comes to being happy, successful?
The reason for all of this is the fact that poeple don't have their own definitions for success anymore. That's why we just stick to whatever the general definitions for success are and try our best to get there. Some do get "successful" but most of us keep falling to square one, not knowing where the real problem lies.
It'll suffice if we just take a minute to listen to what our heart longs for. And it'll tell you that you don't need to struggle for it to be happy.
Lot's of love, peace.
