Conversation.
I get mistaken by people on a daily basis. I get told that I'm being self-centred, everytime I have something bad to say about something people offered me to say something about. I guess it's one of the demerits of wanting and trying to have the ability to converse clearly and expecting others to express themselves clearly.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian, and calling myself that is something that I am happy about.
Conversation is an integral part of our society. It is the medium through which people survive together. It gives people a sense of belongingness amongst one another and at some level, promotes unity. Flaws in the ability to converse gets us into all sorts of trouble because the one who makes an error doesn't know he's making an error and the one recieving the erroneous message most probably doesn't know that the message is erroneous. You know how this ends, usually.
The impacts of failure to converse properly range from the smallest friendly conflicts to the largest relationship destroyers.
The worst part of this is once you let your words out, intentionally or unintentionally, you can never take them back. The damage done can never be undone.
The fact is, we need one another. And if conversing properly and clearly means that it will promote societal harmony, we might as well do it. Because often the biggest fires start from the smallest of sparks. And words are very good igniters.
Beware.
Lot's of love, peace.
