Breaking the chains.
How many of us can actually look at the mirror, into our own eyes, and say that we have had a productive, a good and an enjoyable day, at the end of the day?
Hello all, the Earthian here.
Yeah, sure, a million factors come into play before we can say something like that. But our conscience always knows best and you can never kid it!
When we fail to achieve our own definition of success for ourselves, our own definition of happiness for ourselves, our own definition of goodness of ourselves, there is definitely something wrong that's going on. And if we are willingly placing the blame on the events that are blocking us from doing whatever we want to do, not even trying to break free from the chains, our own morality will be under doubts. And that's why we give up, because we never stand up for ourselves. Because it's too hard to tell ourselves that we need to earn whatever we want to have.
You know what's easy, though? Convincing ourselves of whatever we think we deserve. That's why most of us settle for the least. That's why we are "happy" being wherever we are. That's why we start believing in the unwritten rules of the society, believing it even when it says that not everyone is either destined or blessed to be great. And if you are okay with that about yourself, I am too, about you.
I do have one question though, have you ever thought that you deserve a fair opportunity? An opportunity that only you can grant to yourself? An opportunity to actually make whatever you dream about, a reality?
Lots of love, peace.
