Awareness.

It's one thing to be uneducated. I'm okay with people not having a degree, a qualification, if that is the right way to put it. I'm completely okay with people who don't pursue education. It's just their choice.

Hello there, I'm the Earthian.

But I am not okay with people being unaware and people being ignorant in life. Especially when they try to reason out their mistakes with their ignorance. Ignorance of the law, for instance. I know it sounds a little confusing but let's break it down together.

For a person to be aware of what's happening around him/her, he/she must be willing to gather knowledge of what's happening around him/her. For instance, let's say that there is an election taking place. And as we know, every adult has the right to vote. Which essentially means, every adult has the right, better yet, has the power to make a difference in a country's growth. When what one has is such a prized power, what happens one ignorantly uses it? What happens when one uses it on a person without proper knowledge about that person, his goals and his credibility? What happens when a million people do it?
The answer to what happens is chaos.

Education and awareness are two very different things. One doesn't need to be educated to be aware. One doesn't need a degree to make the right choices in life. One doesn't even need to want to be educated. All one needs is the proper awareness of what's going on around him and what his role is. To know just that is more than sufficient, when it comes to making important decisions.
