Global Atrocities.

It's sad that we have come to a point in life where there is more importance to things that were created by humans than to humans ourselves. Everyday I hear heart breaking stories that I have no control over to help change. I may be able to change them, but it's going to take time, and it will still be only a marginal chance. I don't get why humans have to fight for everything as if we're still barbarians from the god knows when. Every time I start thinking we've come a long way I happen to hear something or see something that is absolutely atrocious. And there are people justifying these atrocities as if they're the order of the day. I hope one day, although it isn't really hope as it is a prayer, that we all come together as humans and try to address the bigger picture. The picture of life, all of us together, every form of life, our planet that had given us everything we have and will give us everything we'll need in the future. I hope we come together for our own sake because it seems to only be getting worse with each passing moment.
