Keep Going.
Some days, we just won't feel like doing something. But that is no reason for us to not do that something that we ought to do, because we humans do not do something unless we see a reward that we think is worth our effort.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian. Yep, the same old Earthian.
And the rewards aren't usually popping right at us, right after we do the task that we ought to do. And that is not in the least way motivating. You see, it is all about the rewards for the majority of us. Anything that promises a reward instantly is what we look forward to, like a plate of our favourite food. We feel blissful from the first mouthful of a spoon of it, pretty much till there isn't any of that food left on the plate. We enjoy every moment of it and we crave for more of that food even when we are fully and positively full. That is how rewarding a plate of our favourite food can be.
But the work we ought to do doesn't promise the same instantaneous rewards which is exactly why we aren't so excited about it. The reality though, is that once we are consistent enough of that work, once we start loving what we do, the work becomes the reward. Reaching that point is the hard part though. Keep going.
Lots of love, peace.
