Humanity.

Sometimes, bad things happen right in front of our eyes. We literally see people doing things that we know are wrong and it hurts when this happens. It hurts so much.

Hello there, I'm the Earthian.

Crimes happen, right in front of our eyes and we feel half guilty for just being a witness. At times like this, we get to do one of two things; Quietly watch everything that's wrong happen or if we are lucky enough, actually get to do something about it. And even though it's unlikely that we do actually get to do something about because of our fear of us damaging our own lives, it's worth a try to just actually create a chance to do something about it. It may not stop people from doing the crime they planned on doing but if it at least makes them think twice about what they are about to do, we have done something right, a tiny good deed. We've won, if we made them just think. I agree, it does take a lot of courage to fight for what's right but it's definitely worth fighting for, for there are far too many people who are okay with being just passersby and there aren't quarter as many to produce a fair chance of a fight.

It is devestating that people can do so many hate motivated crimes that it almost makes them inhuman. The last time I checked, humans are humans only as long as there is some humanity left.
