Boats.
Sometimes we tend to forget that there really are good people around us. We have this habit of overlooking all the good people around us. We are well versed at ignoring the people who love us and look for people we think we'll like, only we get disappointed by those new people and we wish we had still been friends with the good people who were actually with us.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
I mean it's like we become frenzy and lose all of our senses. I'm sure we all have been there, but some of us have been there more than once, more than even twice. In fact some of us never learn, no matter how many good people we lose. We sometimes don't even realize we are stepping away from home seeking a hostel when we actually know home always feels like home and hostels, well, they are hostels. There sure would be some excitement at first but our heart wants what it wants and that's home, always. Maybe it's because we get too comfortable when we are around the people who love us and we sort of take them for granted. Or maybe there is just fundamentally something in us that makes us seek volatile, transient and non-fail-safe friendships and that's what is the problem. Any way, it never ends well for anyone.
It's not worth it to wonder how things could have been with someone when you aren't with them anymore. Boats we let sail in the ocean without any part of us controlling it's destination are boats we have to permanently bid adieu to, unless we get extremely lucky. Hold on to your rocks.
Lots of love, peace.
