Structure
Whatever you want to accomplish, one of the best ways to actually execute it is having strategies. In fact, if you want my personal two cents on it, it is the best way to accomplishing it. Granted it may be a little too organized and structured for some people's liking and comfort, but that isn't even what I am getting at. Have a rough idea of what you'd like to do on a daily basis to achieve that goal of yours. Break your goals down into as many bits as you can and work on those individual bits, at your convenience so that you do not get overwhelmed by the overall size of the task.
Adding a little structure to your plans will go a long way, you don't have to give up on spontaneity entirely, but just having something to refer, having something to fall back to will help you stay on track, if at all you get off it. Everyday once you wake up and get freshened up, have a glance on your list, encircle or mark one or two tasks from that list and try accomplishing it. Work on it at a convenient pace but definitely work on it one task at a time. The key is in not getting overwhelmed and dejected by little failures. Taking up the entire task and failing at it will get you dejected and you will subsequently quit. Break it up, work on it one task at a time.
